Minute Rice

Even though these two cuties were all bundled up nice and warm again this morning for another chilly start, the littlest Addison had somehow already lost a sock, before we even made it inside daycare! Luckily, I had an extra pair in her bag, so I was able to slip that on before dropping her off.

After our delicious family dinner last night, there wasn’t much leftover, but I was glad there was enough for one lunch today!

The school app today said that they had been playing bingo to help learn their numbers. So fun!

Look at how proud these little architects are of the tower they made!

Last night, I made a delicious, homemade shepherd’s pie, and then tonight, I “made” microwave-ready beef tips with minute rice and a can of green beans. But hey, that’s just how it is sometimes! We all love this meal though too, so that’s what matters. And even Addie loved the rice tonight too!

She would whine and cry between bites, and then gnaw on the spoon with each bite. It was so cute and so funny!

She was worn out after dinner though, and super fussy, so I wrestled with her a little bit, and eventually got her calmed down and, and then eventually she fell asleep. And then I sat here in the recliner holding her while she slept, for almost an hour!

Jeff did most  of Emmie’s bedtime tonight while I held Addie, and then he got Addie changed into her jammies and fed her a bottle while I went back to give Emmie some night time loves. I have very minimal dishes to wash, so I’m gonna go take care of that really quickly (while listening to the 10-minute vault version of “All Too Well” at least once), and then snuggle up for some rest and tv time before bed.
