Both little girls were cute in their Minnie Mouse outfits this morning. Addie in particular was in a great mood, because for some reason, she found it hilarious when I yanked the pacifier out of her mouth 🙂
People just keep putting out free books on our little table in the break room, and I can’t resist! Today, I found a couple of Christmas novels, and do you think I could resist those? Of course not?
Got a couple of cute photos of Addie at school, having fun on Friday.
After work, I got started on an easy Friday night dinner, and Jeff and Addison put away the Christmas tree box. Such a sweet little helper girl.
Then we ate dinner together, smushed up on just one side of the table, with a mess on one end. Addison was also eating Chick-fil-A sauce by the spoonful, as if she had herself a little bowl of soup….
And eventually she was eating off both hers and Emerson’s plates.
Sweet little helper, watering plants with me, with her own tiny little watering can, from one of her play sets. And when little sister saw, the just had to copy-cat her too (with an empty can).
Then we spent way too long trying to fluff up the Christmas tree (that’s a terrible chore), and then we got my favorite fluffy chunky wool yarn strung all the way around it. Then tomorrow, we can finally put all the ornaments on it.
We dug out some more of Emerson’s hand-me-down clothes tonight, and Addison was very excited about these jammies she saw, and insisted on wearing them, even though they’re still slightly to big on her.
Both girls were sweet and did great at bedtime, and we had an easy night. Ready for a bit of rest and relaxation now.
