This goofy girl was just as happy as ever for Water Day Friday at school today!
My favorite canopy road with the beautiful morning sunshine on the way back home.
I had a little bit of time before I had to sign in for work, so I whipped up some egg sandwiches for Jeff and I and made myself an iced coffee. It was all very delicious. Question – do you eat egg sammies? And if so, do you slather with butter or mayo? Jeff and I have very different opinions about it (which of us do you think likes which? Here’s a hint: I call Jeff “Paula Deen”), so I’m just curious how y’all like it!?
I saw this on a friends’ Instagram story this morning, and I literally busted out laughing for like, five straight minutes.
Look how much fun my girl had at school today, in all the fun water day activities!
When I picked her up, she thought that she could drive us home. She told me she was big enough, but I’m not quite sure I agree with her on that 😉
Jeff and the boys had a fun “boys afternoon out” at a fun little pinball arcade, and then picked up pizza on the way home for a super early dinner. I mean, by 6pm, we were all completely done eating, and one of us was in a bathing suit playing in her water table!
The size of the bubbles from this crazy bubble gun are just outrageous! And I am obsessed with this photo!
We had another unsuccessful showdown before bedtime about using the potty. Still a no-go on the pee-in-the-potty situation. We’re cracking down a little harder this weekend though, and we’re gonna try just completely ditching the diapers all-together, since she knows if she holds out long enough she’ll get one before nap or bedtime… So that’ll be super unpleasant for all of us I’m sure, but man, somethin’s gotta give with this potty training stale-mate.
Anyways, the boys did a bunch of chores and cleaning today, and got their stuff all packed up. Tomorrow, Jeff and his dad will drive them back to meet their mom halfway to South Carolina. Gabe starts marching band practice on Monday, and Ryan is joining JROTC, so they are excited about those things!
We finished Star Wars episode IX last night, and realized we skipped “Solo,” so we started that last night, and once we finish that up tonight, then we will have really watched all the Star Wars movies this past month!
