We saved Magic Kingdom for our final day of park-hopping, and we truly had a magical day! First up we obviously had to take the classic castle pics right when we got in.

Then our first ride was the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland, followed up immediately by Aladdin’s Magic Carpets and Pirates of the Caribbean, all within the first hour and a half. And we even ran into Captain Jack Sparrow!

Next up was a few brunch foods to share in Frontierland, like this giant caramel pecan cinnamon roll, plus a skewer of candied bacon and a SEC biscuit.

We watched the Country Bear Jamboree after brunch, and then headed to Fantasyland. We rode Prince Charming’s carousel and It’s A Small World. Then we met Snow White & Cinderella.

Next up was lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus, for a nice rest off our feet, and avoidance of the rain.

We ended up doing Enchanted Tales with Belle twice (luckily we just walked straight in with no line the second time), because Addie was crying and too scared to participate or take a picture with Belle the first time. But the second time, she did great, and Emerson was picked for the “main role” of the Beast, and Addison loved meeting Belle, who is one of her very favorites.

While in the area, we went to Gaston’s Tavern for a creme brulee croissant and a Lafou’s Brew for the girls. They made friends with the couple at the table next to us, and they cut them off a generous amount of their huge cinnamon roll to share with the girls.

We rode The Little Mermaid ride, but sadly had to skip meeting her in her grotto, because we needed to find a bathroom asap, and there were none nearby.

But I got to try The White Rabbit iced coffee at the Cheshire Cat Cafe, which I had had on my list for weeks and had been dying to try it! It was cold brew with white chocolate & raspberry and it was delicious.

We rode Dumbo next, which Addison was just the most excited about and had the best time. And then lastly was the people mover right before dark.

It was starting to get chilly though, and we knew the rain was coming any minute, plus they cancelled the 8:15 light parade due to the weather, and we knew we’d be miserable trying to wait around to see if they were gonna do the 9:30 fireworks or not… So we snapped some nighttime castle pics around 8pm, caught the ferry back across the lake, and then got Chick-fil-A for dinner and went back to the hotel.

I can’t believe our trip is already over! The months-long anticipation flies by so quickly once it’s here, and when the dust settles, I’m already looking back on our time with rose-colored glasses, wishing we could do it all again. HUGE shout-out of thanks to Nana for going with me, when our plans accidentally overlapped with Jeff’s mission trip dates. I could not have done this trip with the girls on my own, and Nana was amazing! It felt like the girls were both the perfect ages to really enjoy everything and soak in the magic. We had virtually no issues the whole trip, and I’m just truly grateful for the opportunity to do this with my girlies!!
