Luxurious Scent

Man these kids are so stinking cute! And obviously very happy for a Friday.

This silly little pose was Addie’s idea, and made me come back to take the pic after I had started walking away.

And then we had this super cool tiny diva in the gas station with Daddy.

Emerson had a great day at school today, playing lots of games and events and activities at her field day! They also got special ice cream popsicles from Momma P’s ice cream truck so you know she loved that.

Then PopPop picked up Emerson from school for gymnastics. And I know no one will be surprised to see that she got him to take her back to Beignets & Brew too!

Nana then picked up Addison from school, and they went to watch Emmie at the gym. They had dinner at Chick-fil-A and then got to play on their church playground.

Jeff and I had a quick pizza dinner at home, and then went to the church for a team night with the rest of the worship & production team. We played some getting-to-know-you games, like “two truths and a lie,” had a mini devotional, and sang a couple songs together. And it was a really great night. Nana brought the girls back home to us right as we made it back home ourselves, and it was perfect timing to get started on the usual bedtime routine.

I also got this cute little diffuser set up that I ordered last weekend, based solely on wanting to diffuse this specific scent. My boss put this in a spray bottle and has been spraying it in the office, and it smells soooo good. It reminds me of the hotel Jeff and I stayed at in Cancun on our honeymoon, and for the past 12+ years I’ve literally always been trying to find similar scents to that, because I love it so much, and it feels like such a luxurious scent.

We did a little Frozen seek & find book with Addie at bedtime, while she ate a little bedtime dessert.

I feel in the mood to color in my cutesy little coloring book tonight to wind down before bedtime.
