Emerson took a fun little field trip to Montford Middle School, to see the students perform a play about Finding Nemo! And Addison was just being silly with one wool mitten.
Emmie with some of her friends on the bus on the way to the field trip, and Addie and her friends were making cute little Valentine’s artwork!
I actually got off work a little early today, so that we would have enough time to eat dinner before heading to church for the last night of “fun arts” classes. I ordered Chick-fil-A on the app and it was ready when we got there, and Jeff joined us a few minutes later.
My grilled sandwich came with like, three super giant pieces of lettuce, so I took a few pieces off, and my little salad-loving bunny rabbit girl grabbed a piece and dipped it in her ranch and ate a few bites. It was like a loose leaf salad. (Side story – Meg and I refer to all sorts of random things and bits and bobs as “loose leaf,” ya know like loose leaf paper, even if it’s not paper or anything similar. I wish I could come up with an example, but I’m drawing a blank… Anyways, this is my own little inside-inside joke with mainly myself, and Meg too.)
Jeff and Emmie left dinner first to get to church, but she forgot her little bag. Addie was very excited to carry it out for her, acting like the biggest girl. And just look at that golden orange sunset behind my beautiful girl!
We had a good night at church for the mid-week prayer service, and then started up on bedtime pretty much as soon as we got home.
Back to the next episode of “The Rings of Power” now, for a little while until I fall asleep…
