While Jeff and I are getting things ready and getting myself dressed, Emmie likes to go in Addie’s room to take care of her for us, and it’s adorable. And although Addie looks concerned in this particular photo, she was just hungry and ready for us to pick her up.
But we got ourselves all ready to go and made it to school, and had an easy drop-off as usual.
And this little romper Addie wore just looks so stinking cozy!
I had to go run some errands on my lunch break today, and although I had brought some leftovers for me to eat at the office, I was just really not feeling that. So while I did my errands, I quickly put in an online order to pickup a Philly cheesesteak. Well, when I picked it up, I had a few extra minutes so I sat down outside to eat it, and found I had accidentally ordered the large one, but it worked out just fine, because I ate every single bite!
Emmie’s class had their Thanksgiving lunch at school today…
And this precious little turkey was excited to see Mommy when I got to school today!
And we loved these fluffy sorta-pink clouds on our way home. We talked about the clouds for a good five minutes, and if we lived in the clouds, and all the things that would be made out of clouds, like our bed & cups & food and everything would taste like cotton candy. It was a fun and funny little chat with my sweet and silly girl.
I didn’t want to cook tonight (because we had lots to do & I didn’t wanna waste time cooking or cleaning), so I sent Jeff out to pick up Taco Bell. He got me some sort of grilled cheese steak burrito, and it was ridiculous and huge, but also super good. But Emmie just wanted a PB&J tonight 🙂
Addie had some mango banana baby food, and seemed to enjoy it quite a bit.
We got her in her jammies after dinner and into her swing where she fell asleep after not too long… while Jeff and I and Emmie worked on some chores and packing, because we’re going camping tomorrow!
We got Emerson’s Baby Yoda suitcase packed up for camping, and Addison’s diaper bag packed up for Grammy’s house (we had planned to bring her with us, but changed our minds just yesterday when she started getting a little under the weather), folded a load of Addie’s clean laundry & put that away, and then went through the bedtime routine with both girls.
I tried to give Addison a bottle before putting her down for bedtime, but she refused the bottle entirely, and fell asleep quickly. I know her nose is stuffy so that makes her not want to drink, but hopefully she won’t make a habit out of this!
Jeff ran over to his parents’ house real quick, because they’re letting us borrow their truck for the weekend. Then we’ll load up a few things tonight, to do a little prep work, and finish up in the morning. We’re taking the girls to school in the morning, giving us time to pack up with no little’s around. Then we’ll pick up Emmie right after lunch time, and hit the road! I’ll take a few days off the blog to unplug and unwind (with virtually no cell service in the state park), and then I’ll do a weekend recap post on Sunday evening!
