Leotard & Lettuce Wraps

Addison slept allll through the night last night, until about 6:45am, and Emerson was super excited for ballet today, even wore her leotard to school this morning!

Only got one photo of each girl from our teachers today, but both looked like they were doing good!

For dinner, I made one of our usual meals of Asian chicken lettuce wraps, but with a different kind of meat than usual. I typically just buy regular ground chicken, and add all my owns spices and sauces to get it just right, but this was the only kind they had at the store last weekend, so we gave it a try. And it was really good! I still jazzed it up just a little bit more, and added sautéed veggies (onion, red bell pepper & mushrooms), but it turned out just as good as usual! It was pricier than the “regular” stuff though, so we’ll go back to that next time still.

We also had some pan-seared Thai-style vegetable gyoza from Trader Joe ‘s, and those were really yummy too.

The girls had a bath after dinner, and we got them both in clean jammies with nighttime lotion, and then started on a bottle for baby sis and the bedtime routine for big sis.

I didn’t wash any dishes last night, so with last night’s and today’s and all of tonight’s stuff, I’ve got a pile of things waiting for me in the kitchen. I think I’ll set up my phone in the window sill above the kitchen sink, put in my earbuds, and watch Survivor while I wash dishes for the next 30-ish minutes or so…
