Lazy Bones

We had the laziest day today, and it was so nice. After lots of weekends in a row with lots of plans, it was good to have nothing on the agenda today. We had cereal for breakfast, and the just lazed around all morning, cuddling, playing, laughing, and nodding off on the couch during a movie.

We decided to get out of the house around lunch time, so we got dressed, and I tried my best at the side piggy tails Addie asked for. And hey, they’re lopsided and uneven, but she’s still the cutest little three-year-old!

We needed to go across town, so we went allll the way across town and had lunch at the Chow Time buffet. It’s a little pricey for a weekend lunch, but totally worth it for the sushi and all the other selections! Very yummy.

Then we stopped by Nana and PopPop’s house to check on their little doggie, Noel. They were out of town the entire day, from early early this morning, until after dinner tonight, so we spent some time there at their house with her.

We headed back home for some more lazy bones time, with me napping with Addie and Jeff napping on the couch. I slept about an hour, then I woke up, made myself an iced coffee, and went to Walmart to pickup our grocery order.

Emerson and Grandmommie spent the day at Uncle Keith & Aunt Suzanne’s house, also dog-sitting for them…

So we went over their for a little bit of time hanging out and eating dinner together. We also did the girls’ bath time over there as well before heading back home for bedtime.

It was a little bit late when we got home, so we immediately got sleepy gummies and started the bedtime routine. The girls had been running literally circles around the house before dinner earlier, and then around the backyard before bathtime, so they had run themselves enough to be exhausted. So bedtime was smooth and easy, and they had both fallen asleep in no time.
