It’s the Planet!

When we walked into the school this morning, Addison said, “Mommy look, it’s the planet!” And she wanted to take her morning pictures right there.

Emerson had a weird bump growing right inside her nostril, and we were worried it was a staph infection, like she got around this time last year. So Jeff took her to the doctor this morning to get it checked out. Turns out, it’s just a cyst. The doctor tried to pop it, but it’s really painful for Emmie, so she had to stop. Instead, she has a cream prescription, and an oral prescription to take, but if it pops she can quit the meds.

But while they were out and about, she talked her way into a nice little Daddy-Daughter breakfast at Canopy Road Cafe, with a gigantic Mickey Mouse pancake, of which she ate almost the whole thing.

Emmie stayed home with Jeff and the boys the rest of the day, doing all sorts of hoopla around the house, and working on cars (my old one, which Jeff now drives since I got the new car :), and Gabe’s car too), and just kinda hanging out. Nana picked up Addie from daycare after work, and then we all met up at Momo’s on Pensacola for a Friday night pizza dinner.

Tonight is the boys’ last night before they drive back to South Carolina tomorrow. They specifically requested dinner at a a local pizza place, so we gave them a few options to choose from, and of course they wanted slices as big as their heads!

And PopPop brought some of Nana’s homemade no-bake chocolate, peanut butter & oat cookies for dessert, which obviously the girls were chowing down on.

Had to make sure we got one good picture of all four kids together, even though we never remembered to get one of all six of us together this week. These girls love their big brothers so much, their totally obsessed with them. We’ve had such a great week with them here with us!

There’s obviously no way we’re going to finish movies two and three in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but we’re gonna watch as much as we can of movie number two tonight, before they need to get to bed. We got 23 minutes into it last night, so only 3.5 hours to go 🤣
