Historian

Love and hugs on this Thursday morning, with sweet little smiles!

And apparently they needed a trip to their old gas station stomping grounds on the way to school today.

So I saw this Hobbry puzzle on the Facebook puzzle group I’m in, and knew it was literally the perfect puzzle for me. So now I’m on the hunt for this one specifically, which could be tricky, but I’m hoping I’ll get lucky.

So when Jeff asked me if I wanted to go to Jason’s Deli for salad bar lunch today, I said, “That sounds great actually. And can you also take me to Marshall’s to search for the LFL puzzle?!” And he said of course! I didn’t find that one today, but I did find a different cute one, and he is such an enabler that when I was gonna pass since it wasn’t the one I was looking for, he encouraged me to go ahead and get it anyways 🙂

And my gigantic salad bar lunch was very delicious and exactly what I wanted today.

The girls and I had to make a couple of stops on our way home tonight, to grab a poster at Dollar Tree, and a photo I printed at Walgreen’s. We had a quick dinner at home, and then I helped Emerson make a poster for school. She is running for school historian on SGA at Gilchrist this year, and so she had to make a poster for the upcoming vote. She already won the vote in her individual class (with a cute speech she wrote!), and next is the school vote, for all 3rd-5th grades.

She was so cute planning it all out and coming up with ideas, and she was so proud of her poster, and I am so proud of her! “Historian” is also so on-brand for both her and myself, as she loves to journal and scrapbook. And not only am I the historian of our family with this blog, and taking most of the photos in our large family gatherings (plus maternity & newborn photos for Meg!), but I was also the “editor in chief” of my high school yearbook back in the day! 😉
