Hay Ride through Bethlehem

It’s one of those nights after a long day, where I’m very tired and it’s very late, so I’m going to attempt to just knock this out super quick tonight. My tiny Santa girl moving the Advent calendar for the day…

And then we made strawberry muffins together. She rally did a lot of it herself, and was so sweet and helpful.

Then we went to Megan & Bo’s church today, Generations Church, to watch Megan direct the children’s’ Christmas play. Emerson got to go into the Sunday school room with her triplets, and she loved that, and Addie did really well in her class, and Megan did a great job directing, as always!

Then we all headed off to Dreamland BBQ for a big family lunch.

I grabbed a quick photo of my girls in their beautiful Christmas dresses, we played for a little bit to tire them out before naptime, and then we put both girls down for a nap.

Jeff went to see “Eternals” with his Dad tonight, and I took the girls out to my parents’ house for a quick visit, followed by a hay ride through Bethlehem!

We ended up waiting in line for right at an hour (for a 10-minute hay ride), but both girls did amazing waiting in line, and we had no issues, and Emmie was SO SWEET on the hay ride. She was so interested in everything, and looking all around and asking about things. When we got off the trailer at the end, the older lady across from us said to my mom, “The best thing about tonight was watching it through her precious little eyes!” So sweet!

Emerson was hungry afterwards and wanted a snack, and talked Papa into giving us enough cash to get her an entire happy meal on the way home. So we sat in a slow drive-thru line, then she ate when we got home, and girlfriend crashed once we got her into bed, about an hour later than usual. It was a great morning, and a great night, and just such a nice day!
