Handiwork

The morning sunrise was so beautiful today – the sky was just really showing off God’s handiwork!

Right after I took my picture (above), both my Uncle Keith and my mom texted me with pictures they had each taken of the sky too, knowing how much I love sunrise and sunset pictures!

Addie was proud to bring a bag of oranges to her teacher today!

When we got home from work tonight, I put a pizza in the oven for Jeff and I, and started introducing the girls to “Wicked!” Well, introducing them to the movie for the first time tonight. They’ve been listening to the soundtrack with me for the past week and half, and Emmie’s already learning half the words too. Even Addie tries to sing along in the car! But they were both instantly hooked on the movie. Attention completely locked in and so focused.

We made it about an hour or a little more into the movie, but that joker is long so it’ll take a bit more time to finish up, maybe in a few more watch sessions during the day tomorrow. We’ve also got plenty of chores we need to do tomorrow though, but luckily it doesn’t look like we’re gonna get the bad weather that was predicted, so it might not be too bad to get out and do some errands and such around town too.

Last night, I wrote that we were halfway through the last movie of LOTR and would probably finish. But I was way off… After watching for an hour last night, then we were halfway through. So maybe tonight we’ll finally finish… Maybe?
