Hammock Village

So it’s currently 9:07pm, and I’m just now starting this post. I’m exhausted, and Emerson was a real handful at bedtime tonight (she’s actually still kinda groaning and flopping around in there), so I’m just kinda over it and not feeling this post. So I’m basically gonna dump the photos and run. Most things are pretty self-explanatory anyways, right?!

When my Mom emailed this photo to my Dad earlier today, he was like, “Who is this boy? She looks tooooo friendly in these pics.” But when I showed Emmie the photo and asked her about it at bedtime tonight, she said “Well he was hitting my back too.” I asked if it was gentle sweet pats, but she said no, haha 🙂

Nita treated herself to a brand new set of Pioneer Woman dishes with her special bonus from work, and I’m jealous because they’re so pretty!

Emmie tried to learn to ride a bike tonight, and attempted to use pedals for the first time. She didn’t quite get it (and she didn’t quite reach), but she was cute!

The girls got new hammocks, and Jeff brought outs, so it was a little hammock village out there after dinner.

She did NOT pee for me, but she DID pee for Andersen when she took her potty at Nana’s house earlier!

She looks super sweet and precious in the photos above, but like I said, she was a real handful tonight. She was over-tired from playing too hard, and she was flopping around and not wanting to go to bed, and I kept having to go back into the bedroom over and over, singing more lullabies and more “Jesus Loves Me,” and she’s currently in there laying on her back, with her eyes wide open, chatting to herself… So my work in there is clearly not done yet…
