Can we even handle how cute this little girl is? Especially in these teeny tiny shorts?! She’s just too much cuteness!!
And she’s also very excited for her muffin today 🙂
For lunch today, my work friends Toni and Heather and I went down to Kosta’s for some gyros. Toni saw my Lucky Goat coffee yesterday, and wanted to get one, so we chose a lunch spot nearby, so we could hit up both lunch & coffee places. And this gyro and Greek salad was soooo good! I really loved the gyro, and is probably one of the best in town. The lamb meat was just delicious and flavorful and tender, and the pita itself was super good & fluffy.
We even got to sit outside in the warm sun, and despite the dark gray clouds in the sky, the temperature/humidity was perfect, and it felt so great! That white building in the background of the photo below is where the new Lucky Goat is located, so we all walked across the street after lunch for them to grab a coffee, however I abstained today…
Emerson was in the bathroom practicing a potty break when I got to school. And even though she didn’t actually go in the potty that time, she still knew to wash her hands. It’s so cute seeing her do such “big girl” things like this! We actually sent tiny panties (sorry, I know some people hate that word) to school for the first time today, and they worked with her on that. And she did actually go pee in the potty once today, so, things are off to a good start!
I made homemade pizza tonight, with sauteed mushrooms, onions, spinach, garlic, & cheese, using 4-cheese rosa sauce, and DANG it was just as delicious as always.
Emmie’s not a huge pizza fan though (but man I hope she grows out of that weirdness!), so she had some of her chicken & cheese leftovers from earlier this week. Although she didn’t end up eating much of it, because she had a few too many snacks prior to dinner.
We had lots of free time to hang out after dinner, and we had magical little night together having fun and playing together.
And then she worked up an appetite while playing outside, so she was finally ready to actually eat some food, and ate a ton of chicken, and a few bites of noodles.
She wasn’t thrilled about bedtime, but we did get her changed into jammies and started on the night-night process.
It didn’t get too long to get her down, although she definitely had a lot to say first. She kept talking for a whiiiiilllleee. She is such a chatterbox! But she cracks me up with all her jibber jabber. There are a few dishes piled up from Tupperwares & such over a few days, but I’m just putting all that off until tomorrow. It’s Friday night, and I just want to relax a bit!
