We’ve had a great day today, full of church and family and friends and naps, but it’s 10pm already, and I’m still sunburned & exhausted! So I’m keeping this short & sweet…
Lunch at the Wharf, these Mediterranean mahi tacos are my fave thing there, but today was the first time I tried their smashed potatoes, and dang those were delish.
Emmie was very excited about her new daisy overalls from Grammy. And look at Addie in her new big girl car seat!
Addie slept on Mommy for her whole nap today, and the rushing water video put me to sleep in the recliner too 🙂
Made myself a to-go iced coffee, and then we all went grocery shopping at Aldi this afternoon.
We put some little girl glitter eye shadow on Emmie before leaving home, and she wanted to see some pics of it. When I showed her, she said, “I’m so pretty!”
Then we drove back over to the Bradfordville area again tonight for a Sunday school class pool party and dinner. They had a beautiful driveway, house, and pool, and we had a great time tonight.
We stayed way longer than we planned, and both girls were so tired by the time we finally got home. But luckily, both girls went to sleep really sweetly and easily.
I was able to do this entire post in about 20 minutes, so that’s basically a record me for me, because I usually take about 45, but I’m just ready to go plop on the couch for a bit, before heading off to bed!
