Welp, it finally arrived… Today was Emerson’s very last day at Growing Room! Just shy of five whole years, and in just a week and a half, she’ll be starting kindergarten! And she was so very glad that her last day was a water day!
We also got new green Growing Room shirts just yesterday, so of course we had to wear it. And even though Addison’s 2T was huge on her, she still looked so cute in it!
Today was also the director Ms. Renee’s last day there as well. We’re going to miss her so much!
Check out Emerson here on her first day at Growing Room, in September 2017. We’ve loved having her there these past five years. She was SO WELL taken care of, everyone loved her so much, and I never once felt worried about leaving her for the day. I’ve been so comfortable, and so has she, and we’re so very thankful for her time there!
I accidentally overslept this morning, but after dropping off the girls today, I started up a new audiobook on my way to work. I’ve actually read this one before a few years ago, but I wanted to do a re-read, with the audio version.
Randomly decided to go out to lunch with a group at work today, to Yasou Cafe, and dang it was sooo delicious. And this giant plate of food was about $16, and I couldn’t quite even eat it all.
Found this little goofball with her feet propped up riding around on the buggy when I got to the school this afternoon.
And after picking up the girls, we went to Aunt Meggie and Uncle Bo’s house for a family pizza night! We tend to always do pizza on our own each Friday night, so last night, we decided to do it all together. It was a great, loud, chaotic night, and we loved it!
Had to do a quick video call with Grammy & Papa, and all the girls were excited to see them, but Addison especially was super excited about it.
We brought jammies for our girls so they could all get ready for bed together, and then after some fresh-baked cookies from Uncle Bo, we loaded up to head on home.
We read one quick chapter in Matilda, and Jeff and Addie fell asleep in the recliner, per the usual…
Jeff has a little bit more work to do tonight, so he’s gonna hop on the computer, and I’ll just veg out, probably watching a random documentary on Netflix or Hulu, which I’ve been very into these past few weeks.
