Fox Friday

Look at the pure happiness on the face of my Emerson! She’s just the most joyful, sweetest little girl.

And Baby Addison is on the way to becoming just like that too!

“X” is for xylophone, and she had a small fox in her bag too, since it has an X in it. And ironically, her xylophone is a fox too! Funny thing is, I know at least two of her friends also brought xylophones too, cuz it’s not like there are many options of things to bring that start with X!

Last bowl of my delicious sweet potato chili for lunch today. Yummmyyy….

And I found this book in our little “free book” section at work today, and it looked so cute I picked it up to keep, knowing nothing about it.

Got a few cute pictures of the girls at school today, and funny enough, Addison was playing with the same fox xylophone in her classroom today too!

Emmie and her friends were working on some numbers, playing a little finding game, when I got there to pick her up today.

And then at home, I made delicious bacon, egg & cheese (with sauteed onions & mushrooms) grilled breakfast wraps for dinner. I went through a phase last year where I made this once or twice a week, and then I just kinda forgot about them and haven’t made them in forever. But these were sooooo delicious tonight! Definitely gonna add these wraps (in many varieties) back to my regular monthly meal plan rotation.

I just added some easy fruit on the side, and it was very quick and easy. Emmie also loved her wrap, and she ate so good tonight. She always loves breakfast food though, and always eats that really well.

We put Addison in her jumpy swing after dinner, while we did some clean-up and play time, and she was really having the time of her life in there. We left her in there for about 30 minutes, because she was just so happy and giggly and smiley and jumpy!

After some clean-up around the house, and some ice cream for dessert, we got both the girls in bed for the night. They were both really sweet, and went down easily, and all went smooth. Jeff and I did a little bit more light cleaning and I found my birthday present again from my parents, that I forgot to unpack before…. oopsies! But look at all these cute things!

I’m heading off to go wash up a mountain of dishes, and Jeff is working on folding a mountain of laundry. Last night, I slept from about 10:15pm through 5:50am this morning, straight through the whole night! That hasn’t happened in a very long time, and I actually woke up feeling much better today and more well rested. Crossing my fingers, wishing on a shooting star, and saying a prayer we get another night like that tonight!
