Four Lattes

We were very excited to see a big bright moon still out early this morning. And seeing the moon helped get Addie out of her grumpy little mood she was in for a bit…

Love both of their outfits today. Addie is wearing another “new” hand-me-down dress from Emmie, from the box I pulled out the other day. This was one of Emmie’s third birthday presents, when she requested a dinosaur themed birthday party. And Emmie was that sweet little mix of looking like a little girl still (with her Squishmallow tshirt) but also looking slightly too grown up (with that cute little skirt & hair twist I did for her).

Love this lemon claw clip we found at the Dollar Tree over the weekend. I wanted to try to wear it myself, but I have way too much hair for these things, and it just doesn’t work out. But her cute little hair is adorable in it!

Today was the last the The Frother’s Daughter was parked at our building for the summer. Now that the FSU kids are back in town, they’ll be parked down on campus most of the time. And today, I very generously offered to pick up lattes for two of my work friends, to get my extra stamps, and I earned this cute little glass cup! Today I got the “Amber’s Farewell,” which was an iced dark chocolate Milano-cookie inspired dirty chai, topped with amaretto foam, cocoa dust, and cherry drizzle. And it was soooo good. Honestly, it’s one of my favorites of thiers I’ve ever had! Probably because I loved the amaretto/cherry/chai flavors so much.

And then one of my other work friends brought me an Oatmeal Cream Pie latte, because she had an extra, after she bought three drinks to earn her free t-shirt. 🤣

Looks like cute little Addie was doing some tracing at school today. And it looks like she did a really great job with it!

For the first time since baby boy was born, Meggie and I met up for a sister lunch date, plus baby Hayden! She wanted Chicken Salad Chick, so I tried their new Greek Goddess flavor, with olives and feta, and it was really yummy.

And I loved getting some baby snuggles after I finished eating!

Last weekend, I never actually did a grocery order like usual, and I didn’t make my weekly meal plan. So this weeks meals have been thought up on the spot, based on what I can find that we already have. So tonight it was tuna sandwiches for me and Jeff (with slices of provolone that Nana sent us home with the other day), and little mac & cheese cups for the girls.

While Emerson worked on her home page tonight, I took apart the puzzle we finished the other night, and started separating it out to start on it again.

Daddy was helping Emmie with one of her homework questions, and I just loved how Pennie was sitting there next to him so calmly, staring straight at Emmie, with her ears at half-mast.

And then while Addie had a little “meal bar” (an oatmeal bar) on the couch, her and Pennie were all snuggled up being so sweet together.

We went through our normal routines for bedtime, and got the girls to sleep pretty easily. And now I’m gonna go re-do that fun little puzzle again for the second time this week 😉
