Pretzel Goldfish on the couch before school this morning, with Pretzel dog begging on the side.

Today was Spirit Day Friday at school, so she wore her little purple shirt. I always think she looks like a little Growing Room ambassador when she wears this shirt. They should pay her to be their model! 😉

I got to leave the office for an hour this morning, but only to go to the eye doctor. My eye has been all weird and red since Monday, so I figured I should finally go to the doctor. I lugged my giant book, and read about 10 pages, and found out I have an episcleritis, which is a fancy term for an irritated eyeball. Basically, something (anything really), got in there as irritated it, so now I have to use some prescription steroid eye drops for a little bit.

I came back to the office afterwards, and hd leftover chicken lo mein & potstickers, and read some more of my book. I’m about halfway through now, and I’m really liking it. It’s due tomorrow though, so of course it’ll be late…

Grammy and Papa picked up Emerson from school today, and she was SO excited to see them! They went to Hobby Lobby for some shopping, and just look at these two cities!

I met them there for just a little bit too, an I got a new Christmas tree ornament (not pictured), and this cute peach basket! It was only $3! I don’t know what I’m gonna do with it, but I really wanted it. I might even need one more…

Then we met the whole fam for dinner at Pepper’s! (Jeff and Bo were actually both at home resting, but everyone else was there.) We had a great time, and yummy food, and I got lots of baby snuggles and smooches from Riley.

Meg & Ellie.

Aunt Suzanne and Kensley.

Me and Riley.

Pollo Santa Fe is my current favorite thing on the menu – grilled chicken topped with onions, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes & cheese. Sooo good!

Aunt Meggie brought Emmie some cookies!

Beautiful sunset on the way home.

We read Lady and The Tramp again tonight, and then she snuck a peek at me during prayers, while I was trying to sneak a photo of her sweet folded hands and tight-squeezed eyes.

She was surprisingly much easier to get to sleep tonight, and I was so thankful for that, since it was almost 1.5 hours late! And now it’s time to collapse on the couch and watch a movie or something.
