Extra Peanuts

Today was such a busy and great day, full of alllll the things. We started the day hitting up two or three yard sales…

And refueled at Dunkin with coffee & caffeine for me and Jeff, and donuts for the girls.

We found these cute little unmapped LFL’s at our next yard sale, and I got two good books and two magazines.

My little bookworm brought one of her graphic novels from home with us, and was reading every free second.

And then we went out to the Antique Car Museum to watch Kensley’s soccer game! All the triplets are in different extra-curricular’s, and so far we’ve seen Riley at swimming, and we’ve gone to Ellie’s piano recital, so of course we had to go see Kensley too!

Next up was lunch at Thai Kitchen next to Home Goods, and I got the only thing I ever get there, the simply-name chicken noodle bowl, but today I ordered it with extra peanuts and that was definitely a good idea. And it was amaaaazzing. As always. And we ran into Home Goods for a few minutes after lunch.

We went to Spirit Halloween looking for some costumes, and Addie was so brave to go through the little spooky cabin in the middle. But we didn’t buy anything there. (Why are costumes so expensive!?)

Then we went to TJ Maxx to look for costumes because I remember seeing them there in years’ past, but there were none there today! But, I did luck out finding two more Hobbry puzzles from their new winter/holiday drop! I was only gonna get one, but Jeff convinced me to go ahead and just get both 😉

Next up was Walmart for a few things (EOS lotion – just tried it for the first time and it’s amazing, and mine and Emmie’s skin has been SO dry and crusty this week with the cold dry weather, so I needed to buy some), and look for costumes, but still bought no costumes. We did grab a boxes of diapers though, because Addie is still not totally potty trained overnight.

We went back home to chill and have some quiet feet off the floor time for about an hour or so after all that running around. And then we went back out to meet the family at the pumpkin patch for some fun and pumpkins.

And then we all had an early dinner together at 4Rivers. I wasn’t feeling like BBQ though, so I ordered their Cuban sandwich, and it was actually really good!

The girls had a nice long bath once we got home, and I made a lot of progress on my current fall-themed puzzle. I actually started in the middle on this one (right on the words “cozy bookshop”) because the entire edge is just plain, tan pieces, and it was too intimidating! This part in the center was fun and easy, and went by quickly. But now I’m down to the trees and all the tan pieces, so who knows how long that will take…

Made sure to get the girls into bed at a good time, so they can get lots of sleep tonight after our very full day.

Today was such a great day, and I loved all of our family time together with just our 4-fam, and our big giant fam. Tomorrow is busy as well, but gonna be another good one…
