Crowned Princesses

Short & sweet little post today, because it actually felt like a short & sweet little day. Two beauties dressed up ready for church.

We had a great church service today, with communion and lots of extra worship songs. Meg led one of the songs, and she sounded so beautiful I was crying because I was just so proud of her. And then after church, all the goofy trippies loving on each other and my girls after church.

They learned about King Saul in children’s’ church today, and so they all got little crowns at the end of the service. So we had ourselves four little Crowned Princesses!

We picked up Bojangles for lunch on the way home, and then once we were all full, we all fell asleep for a nice little 2-hour afternoon nap.

Then by the time we woke up after our naps, it was time to get dressed, and head back to the church. We dropped off the girls at the church for childcare, and then we drove across town to eat at Chow Time with our group of 25 friends for our Connect Group time. It was mine & Jeff’s first time there, but it was so good! I had one plate of Chinese food (my favorite was the pineapple chicken) and one plate of sushi (plus crab salad and kimchi that I wanted to try but didn’t like), and everything was good. And it was so nice to hang out with so many other adults, including my sissy 🙂

We went back to the church to pick up the girls, and they were just so happy and cute and having a great time. And we had to take some animal crackers on the road home too.

We all kinda cuddled on the couch for a while when we got home, watching tv and playing on my phone and loving on each other. And then it was time to get the girls ready for bed. Look how cute these nuggets are!

Emerson was a little bit more clingy tonight and needed lots of hugs and loves and extra time, but she’s steady snoozing now. I also got to rock Addison to sleep tonight, and she was so sweet and cuddly with me and I loved it. Leon County schools are all closed tomorrow, so I took the day off work to have a Mommy & Emmie day, so we’re looking forward to that!
