Cosmic Bowling

Hooray for Friday! Emerson was especially happy for water day, and Addison is just always happy!

Didn’t get any photos of Emerson today, not even from water day, but Addison had herself a grand ole’ time at school!

So during our lunch break, the power went off in our entire building. Around 1:10, it came back on, but by that point, they had already sent out an email that everyone could go home. So although I still had to work from home, I still enjoyed working from home for the afternoon. Since I have a giant puzzle on my dining room table, I set up really quickly on my coffee table and sat on the floor. But that didn’t last long, and eventually I pulled out a tv tray to work on. And I had a really busy afternoon!

Luckily though, I got to sign out right at 5pm (even after doing two emergency processes this afternoon), to start the weekend! Nana and I actually switched cars this morning before work, so that she could pick up the girls after work/school, for them to have a sleepover with her tonight! And Jeff and I are about to step out the door to meet our friends Britteny & Steven for pizza and bowling, to celebrate her birthday! These are the gifts I got her – book because I read it and loved it and think she will too, water cup because she loves them and collects them, and candle because it smells good 🙂

I actually wrote this much of the blog so far super quickly after signing out of work & putting some makeup on, and I may try to update more later, if the app on my phone will let me insert any photos from dinner or bowling. (Sometimes, the app will let me write, but not insert pictures, which is why I almost exclusively blog on the desktop computer, but we’ll see how that goes later…)

Good news! I figured out a work-around to get some pictures input into the blog tonight, so hopefully it really does work correctly. We went to Gaines Street Pies for dinner and had delicious pizza and garlic knots.

We got a Groupon deal for cosmic bowling, and then we all went bowling together. None of us have been in years, but I think we’re gonna have a blast!

Fun Friday night with friends!
