Coffee Cart

I love these cute baby girls and their matching butterfly t-shirts. Addie was originally having a bit of a meltdown about the outfit (for no reason, she just gets feisty about things, she’s a grump morning girl), but we told her the butterfly was like her favorite Dolly song, “Love is a Butterfly.” So we played the song on Jeff’s phone, and she loved that and we got her happy and smiling again!

And I plan to keep putting them in matching clothes for as long they will both allow it, because it’s just so sweet!

I had a physical therapy appointment mid-morning today, and I walked out of my building to find this adorable little coffee cart parked right out front! Goodies Eatery just recently started this, maybe like last week, I believe. He told me they had breakfast sandwiches and burritos in the little cart, plus a few pastries and cookies on the counter. Then they had hot coffee or cold brew, plus a few milk options and some flavors too. Honestly, the coffee was not quite to my tastes, and it was pricey for just a cup of hot coffee, but it was very cute and fun.

And since I was out and about at lunch time, I went to Paris Bahn Mi to get my favorite bahn mi, to redeem the less-than-impressive one I had last week. And this one was sooooo good. I like to ask for extra sauce and extra veggies, and it was the best. Plus, I tried a little “pateso” on the side, and that was super yummy too.

After picking up the girls from school, we went to Culver’s for dinner before gymnastics. For the last few weeks, I’ve been bringing us sandwiches & snacks on Tuesdays before the 6:30pm gym class. But then on Wednesday’s, Emmie has to be at church at 6pm, and we never make it on time after going through a fast food place for her dinner. So I finally had the idea to switch the dinner nights, so tonight we did Culver’s, and tomorrow I’ll bring us sandwiches.

So even after our quick dinner, we still had time to go out to the pool to visit Grammy and Riley at swim practice. Riley was so excited to see us, and all the girls were so sweet, and of course Riley especially loved the leftover fries and fruit punch we brought her from dinner.

Emmie was being a cute little bookworm for the 30 minutes of Addie’s class before her own class started, and then I was also a bookworm while they were both in their classes.

Jeff came and met us there eventually, and then took Addie home after her class. He got her to sleep before we made it home, and then I got Emmie to sleep easily once we got settled down.
