Christmas Cards

Today was supposed to be “tacky Christmas sweater day,” and although we didn’t have tacky sweaters, we did have cute new Christmas penguin outfits!

I couldn’t get Addie to look up at me, but when the cook Ms. Summer walked by, she looked up at her so interested!

Last night’s leftover carnitas were still really yummy today.

And I put up some new decor in my office today. My work-friend Heather got me this cute little photo-light strand. She said she saw them on clearance, grabbed one for herself, and then went back to grab another one for me, because she knew I had a little pile of photos printed that I had never put up yet. And this turned out so cute!

Addie is finally big enough to ride on the bye-bye-buggy, and you can see how much she loves it! Emmie even said she saw her out on the playground, riding around outside!

I found this little cutie playing with some building blocks with one of her friends at school when I got there to pick her up. Addie had just woken up from a little nap, and hadn’t had her bottle yet, but she was excited to see sister & Mama!

Then Emmie helped me out with dinner tonight, making some simple chicken alfredo, with Caesar salad and garlic cheese toast.

I love getting Christmas cards y’all! We’ve gotten a few others that are already posted up, but all of these came at once today, and it makes me so happy to see photos of my friends and family, and sweet cards, and I especially love the “newsletters” that are included with some. Send me all the Christmas cards! If you’re reading this, I probably like you, so send us a Christmas card! 😉

The girls had fun splashing around in the bathtub, getting me soaking wet in the process… Addie is at a stage where she doesn’t wanna sit in the little bath hammock thing anymore, but she doesn’t wanna sit still on her bottom either. She keeps trying to lean forward and crawl around, but the water is too deep, so she ends up trying to swim, basically, and I’m just holding her around her belly as she flops all over the place. So it’s just a whole splashy, tiring ordeal 🙂

Butt both girls looked adorable in their new Christmas jammies! Tomorrow is Christmas PJ day at school, so we’re all ready to go! Nana found this beautiful gown for Emerson, and Grammy found the cute Peanuts jammies for Addison (which is perfect, because my parents love Peanuts & Charlie Brown), and they’re both adorable!

Jeff and Emmie went outside to take some photos of the moon, and I stayed inside to feed my exhausted baby girl her bedtime bottle.

Emmie was a little tricky to get to sleep tonight, but we did eventually get her down, and Addie went down without a fight at all. After working my butt off on the dishes last night, the sink is full once again, so I’m heading back to the kitchen, with my audio book in my ear buds, to wash some more dishes. But here’s a photo of last night, when everything was clean and tidy, with a ton of clean dishes all nicely stacked.
