Choir & Orchestra

This first photo was from late last night, my little sleeping beauty snoozing away in bed next to me, while I sat there reading for a while, before going to sleep myself.

Then this morning, both girls went back to school. Emmie’s head wound is still doing good, and she hasn’t really even complained of any pain. We gave her some restrictions at school (no playground, no running, no throwing balls, etc….), and I talked to her teacher and the director, to ensure we were all on the same page with that for a while.

Even doing stuff like picking up her sister makes me nervous, but Addie loved it, and Emmie was fine, so I could breathe easily again once she put her down…

Emmie had a good day, even with a crazy head wound!

I had a crazy busy day at work today, but I did not receive any phone calls of injuries from the school, so that was a blessing. And then when I got to school to pick up the girls, we found Addie riding around with her friends and teacher on the bye-bye buggy.

Emmie helped me get a few things out of the cabinet and rearrange some stuff, while we made up some hot dogs and tater tots super fast for dinner…

While Jeff fed Addie her first Reese’s egg 😉

And then she was just chilling on Jeff, like her own personal baby recliner, watching Doc McStuffin’s with big sister.

Then after a super quick dinner, we gave the girls a super quick bath, and Emmie very calmly let us wash her hair again, with no problems at all, which was another huge blessing.

I was texting with my cousin Mandy earlier, and she asked about Addie’s hair, so I took a few pictures to show her how much it’s actually growing lately, and how blonde it is. It’s still a little damp after bath, but you can get a good idea of how bright the blonde really is!

Nana had taken the boys to her church tonight, and Jeff stayed home with the girls, and I went out to church for a late-night choir rehearsal, from 7:30-8:30, so that we could rehearse with the full orchestra for Easter Sunday.

Addie was asleep long before I got home, but Emmie was still awake waiting on me to get home. So I cuddled with her a while, and we bargained that she would get to sleep in my bed with me for one more night, and we made her promise she’d go back to her bed tomorrow night. So y’all pray about that with us 😉
