Sweet little girlies, and their crazy doggie Pennie!
Got a picture of Addie Pie doing some arts & crafts at school – looks like she was making a little red truck!
Apparently, Emerson and her little after-school friends have started their own grassroots club for rock collectors, “The Rock Club.” And she took a tiny spray bottle of water to school, just to use it to clean up rocks in after-care. And then she brought home a gigantic rock in her backpack today, and needed to go out in the backyard and work on her rock some more while I cooked dinner. And I guess Addison got inducted into the at-home Rock Club as well!
Emmie is always the one to grab stuff out of the cabinets for me, but today Addie wanted to help, and she was actually tall enough, and that surprised me, but she was very helpful 🙂
We had chicken sandwiches with chicken & broccoli flavored rice, and everyone’s new favorite lima beans.
Both girls ate just about everything on their plates, and had very full tummies by the time they finished. Emmie decided she had a chicken baby in her tummy, had us rubbing her belly to feel it and everything. And then she disappeared and came back and “delivered” this baby chicken 🤣
The girls had a bath after dinner, and then I started washing up some dishes while they had seconds of everything leftover from dinner, and watched some Bluey. Addie also ended up finding her little gray chicken and delivered her chicken baby too. 🤣
Emmie fell asleep very quickly and early tonight, but Addie just wanted to stay awake watching tv with Daddy for a while longer. Now, I think it’s time to watch a movie and just zonk out early…
