Cheetah Girl

Wednesday’s are very long days, where I’m gone from home for close to 13 hours. So I’m gonna keep this short & sweet. It was a mostly regular day – school, work, church – with not much variation from our usual routine… I loved Emmie’s Cheetah Girl outfit so much today!

Just the other day, Emmie told me, “I’m sick of this hot weather!” So she was actually excited for the cooler weather this morning!

Started the next audio book in the ACOTAR series today, for my second read of book #4. I now have only 14 days to listen to 26 hours of audio though, so I gotta stay on top of that.

All of our offices have been painted over the last few weeks, and today they were finishing up my final wall, but I had to move out temporarily, and I set up shop in our giant conference room, with a nice view of the capitol building.

We dropped off Emmie at church for kids’ Christmas choir (where she found out she got a sweet little duet with another tiny cute girl for the Christmas play!), and then had dinner at Firehouse.

Church was great, and we got lots of loves from the trippies and Aunt Meggie and Uncle Bo, and then got started on bedtime right away once we got home.

Both girls were a little too riled up though (as you can see from the above photos), so it took a little while longer to actually get them to sleep, but we were successful eventually. And now it’s time for sleep myself, now that it’s almost 10pm.
