Cavity-Free

Cutie pie little sisters, at drop-off for only baby girl this morning…

Just in time for breakfast…

And some quick loves from our trippies 🙂

And then a dental check-up for Emerson! And she was cavity-free today, so yay for that!

I did a super fast shopping trip on my lunch break for a couple gifts and things, and got myself a new planner, so I’ll be ready to start writing down school-calendar-things when Emmie starts kindergarten in the fall.

Addie at school…

Emerson was working on her own little puzzle when I got to school to pick her up. She’s really my little puzzle buddy these days!

Jeff wasn’t feeling well tonight, so it was just me and the girls, so we kept it super simple with grilled cheese sandwiches, chips for Emmie and a Greek salad for me (and that salad was so super good). I made a sandwich for Jeff, but he never ate it, so we’ll save it, and I bet it would hear up well in the air fryer tomorrow…

While we were eating dinner, Emerson said, “Tomorrow is a brand new day, and I like brand new days. It means brand new learning! And next week we’re learning about light!” Ugh, I just love her and her little mind!

And then of course we went back to Addison’s room to play for a long time, just doing all the things. I also tried to practice some braiding skills on Emmie, because I’m really not good at hair. It was messy and crooked, but I showed her the photos, and she loved it! But I think I’m gonna need lots more practice 😉

We got ready for bed, and I got the girls dressed, and then it was an hour-long process of hoopla and back-&-forth and up-&-down, but it eventually got both girls to sleep.

I’ve got some chores and things that I need to take care of, so I’m going to pop in my earbuds and listen to my audiobook while I work, and then take a few minutes to work on my puzzle, and then eventually head off to bed…
