Caterpillar Cleaning

Today was a much better day than yesterday, and we all had a good Friday. Both girls were wearing cute Disney shirts – princesses for Addison and “Encanto” for Emerson. So cute!

Oooh this leftovers lunch was delicious today. It was more food than I could eat in one meal, but man it was delicious.

I finished book number three on audio in the ACOTAR series (for the second time) yesterday actually. I’m having slight withdrawals from that world, very impatiently awaiting for my hold to come through on book 3.5, which will hopefully not take too long.

Took it really easy and simple for dinner again tonight, with pizza rolls for three of us, and a pb&j for Emmie. Then we had a chip buffet on the table, and I had pringles but they all had cheese doritos.

After dinner, Emerson donned this “calla-piller” hat she made at school, and then she helped me clean up the living room and dining room. She used this tiny wagon to ferry things back to her room, and wore this hat for most of the time.

After months of eating on the tiny card table (while I supposedly worked on puzzles on our main table), I finally got tired of it, and wanted to put things back to normal. I hadn’t even finished a puzzle in forever, so it was time. And it’s so nice to see everything put back and looking so pretty!

Emmie worked on her kids choir song, and then Addie had to come join in on the fun and dancing too.

Then they both got their jammies on, and we started trying to get them to sleep, but neither wanted to, so we all just watched a little bit of Daniel Tiger for a while instead, while they kinda rolled around and play-wrestled each other.

After my hour-long cleaning rampage earlier, I’m tired now, and then we let the girls stay up late, so it’s super late now, a little after 10:15pm. So it’s almost my bedtime on this late Friday night!
