Bunny Babies

Another great, long, busy day, with lots of pictures! And of course it’s late already, so another speed-round to write today’s post, so I can go paint my fingernails & toenails, and get ready for Easter tomorrow… Jeff and the boys left early this morning to meet up with their mom, and I made eggs for me and the girls for breakfast.

Then we got ready and went to Generations Church (where Uncle Bo is the children’s pastor), to attend their giant Easter egg hunt with all their activities.

Look at all these adorable little bunny babies!

Addie stayed awake the entire morning, from about 6am to 12noon, so she was super easy to get down for her nap when we got home. And for that matter, Emmie went down for her nap really easily too. I ate some Momo’s leftovers for lunch, while I watched New Girl, and then got up to clean house, because it was super messy and cluttered.

I had just enough time to get the kitchen nice and clean, before Addie woke up, ready for a bottle and ready to play.

This little excited face was for when her sister woke up and walked into the living room, so cute!

I gave Emmie a quick mani/pedi…

And Addie walked laps around the coffee table for a while.

Then Emerson helped me finish cleaning up the front of the house, and I vacuumed the living room.

I had forgotten to set up a grocery pickup order this weekend, so instead, I took the girls grocery shopping at Aldi this afternoon. I went in without a list, and just browsed, and let the store tell me what to get, and made this week’s meal plan as we shopped. It was kinda fun!

I got the cold stuff put away super fast, and then we headed to KFC to meet my parents and Grandmommie for dinner. All three of them had been so worried about Emerson all week after her head injury, and didn’t get enough time loving on her this morning. So we made dinner plans, for some more time together, and we had such a great time laughing and just hanging out and eating some really good chicken!

By the time we got home from dinner, Jeff had made it back home, and had brought me this little treat from one of those gas station / general stores on the back country roads in Georgia, and I was super excited about it. Haven’t tried them yet, but I’m excited to try soon.

We got the girls in the bathtub and got them both cleaned up, and Emmie let me clean up her head staples a little bit more again tonight. (It’s been hard to get clean, since we can only barely touch/dab/rub it.) She was excited to put on this new nightgown from Nana, and then she had a pear, that she personally picked out at Aldi today. (She chose apples, pears & grapes; I chose mini cucumbers, avocados, and salad kits.)

And she shared some of her pear with baby sis.

Then after we got the girls down, I finally remembered that I had totally forgotten Easter basket supplies, so I had to make a quick run to Walgreens at 9pm.

I found cute stuff, and spent a little too much money, but the girls will wake up to cute little baskets in the morning! Like I mentioned earlier, I’m going to paint my nails now, which is long overdue, and then try to get some rest!
