Buffalo Burger

Addie was oh-so-very adorable in a new, simple little dress we got her for Christmas. Love the casual dress with the little tennis shoes. Such a cutie!

And Emmie was super happy and smiley and also looking super cute in her little matching peach set with the butterflies and flowers on her top & bikers.

Jeff had to actually come into the office today, so he was downtown near me instead of working-from-home all day. So he came and picked me up from my office, and took me to lunch. He’s been craving burgers a lot lately, and wanted to try the new Nelson’s Burger Bar, It was priced well, and really yummy. He loved his Carolina Burger (with slaw & chili), and I loved my Bulldog Burger (with ranch dressing & buffalo sauce & Bleu cheese crumbles). There was just one guy running the front of house, but he was super friendly and helpful and attentive, and our food came out very quickly. I was in and out in an hour, for those of you fellow State employees downtown. Definitely give this place a try, we’ll be back for sure!

Cutie little Addie Pie, having fun at school.

Another delicious meal, made with our fancy Fresh Market ingredients and pre-made items. Don’t have a “finished” photo tonight, but it was really good (definitely the best Caesar salad kit I’ve ever had), and the girls absolutely loved the meatballs. They also loved these teeny tiny apples that Grammy got them!

The girls splashed like crazy in the bathtub together for a while, and Emerson ever so sweetly washed Addison’s hair and scrubbed her down, and then rinsed her off. It was just so precious and made my heart swell with love for these two sweet sister girls. Emmie ate two sliced of watermelon for her snack (down to the very edge of the rind), and Addie plopped down at Daddy’s feet to eat a little chewy chocolate chip cookie.

Both girls did well for bedtime tonight, and I was thankful for that. Addie has still been waking up a lot during the night these days (I held her in the recliner last night from about 3am-6am, sleeping off and on, and that was very rough), and I’m just really wanting/hoping/praying that she finally sleeps through the night tonight!
