Book Stash

Today was my day again for solo-morning-mom-duty, as Jeff went to his bi-weekly men’s Bible study at 6:30am. We had a few hiccups, but we made it out the door, and a little early to both schools, and all was well!

I actually finished reading a book tonight during gymnastics, and then scrolled on TikTok for a bit, before switching over to my Kindle book.

Jeff and Addie actually went over to Nana & PopPop’s house while we were at the gym, so Jeff could help Dave load up some stuff in the back of his truck, that they’re donating to some of their old friends who are moving into a new house. So I didn’t see this cute little face until they finally made it home, after 8pm tonight, but she was just chatting away telling me about butterflies and cocoons and the chrysalis and something about two weeks’ time… Come to find out (from the teachers’ email), they have been growing and hatching butterflies in their classroom these past few weeks, and released a couple yesterday and today.

One of Jeff’s old coworkers and friends met up with him tonight too, to give me a huge stash of her old books. Jeff was only able to bring in a few of the bags of books tonight, so I’ll have more goodies to unpack later this week, once we get the rest out of the car. Thanks, Lisel!

We’ve been really adding to our own personal library lately, and it’s been lots of fun. This new little shelf is starting to fill up already, but it’s looking so good! 🙂

Short post tonight, after a long day, so I’m heading off to flop on the couch and chill out before falling asleep…
