Bento Box

We were trying to get all five girls together for drop-off this morning, since Emmie only has a few days left. Addie didn’t want Aunt Meggie to put her down though after she got her out of my car, but once Meggie carried her partway, and then Addie held hands with the girls, she was happy and everyone had a great drop-off!

Then Mama, Megan and I met up for lunch at Masa. Well actually, Meg picked me up from my office, so it was nice to be chauffeured around 🙂 We shared a California roll & some potstickers for an appetizer, and then we each ordered an express lunch bento box. We all tried a bite of the other’s main entrée, but mine was the best!

Mama got tempura shrimp, Meg got sesame chicken, and I got Mongolian chicken. I really loved all the onions with mine. There were three different kinds of onions, and I love onions, so it was perfect for me. These meals were so filling though, so with our appetizers too, none of us quite finished our whole bento box.

Addie and her friends playing at the classroom door…

When I went to pick up the girls, Emerson was holding court in Addison’s room and entertaining this little group of tiny friends. They were all enthralled with her, and copying her trying to climb up the tiny little mountain.

We had salisbury steak with mashed potatoes & gravy and corn, all from Aldi, for dinner tonight, and it was a hit. Everyone cleaned their plates, and Addie even needed more than I had originally gotten for her.

We did our usual routine of playtime before bedtime, and then got the girls into jammies and started on all the bedtime activities…

She brought over this book and sat down in front of me to read it to her.

Then sat down in her boppy to read it to herself…

She didn’t want to lay down for me to put her footie jammies on, so I did it like this to make her happy, and she looked so cute like this.

Emmie was ripping off teeny tiny pieces of her Rice Krispy treat to share with Addie. She’s so sweet to her baby sis!

Puzzle time with Mommy before bed, while Daddy rocked Addison to sleep.

Both girls did pretty good going to sleep, and as usual, it’s time for me to go wash some more dishes….
