Baby Buns & Baby Carrots

Aunt Meggie got to school first today, and her and the triplets stayed dry under the portico waiting for us. And miraculously, we actually got all five girls not only looking at the camera, but even (mostly!) smiling! And all the (big) girls had baby buns in their hair today!

Emmie was doing a little ballet performance for her friends today, so they were supposed to wear a bun in their hair, and I was actually pretty proud of how this turned out. So precious!

Addison got to visit a new room at school today for some different playtime activities, and she just looks like such a big girl!

Then, Addie Pie was riding around on this buggy this afternoon when I got to school to pick up the girls, and she started kicking her legs and smiling so so big when she saw Emmie and I coming closer.

But of course she was so tuckered out from her busy day, that she fell asleep on the ride home as always.

We have had a lot to do tonight before the night of our Disney trip, and I didn’t want to cook and create more dishes to wash, so we just baked a pizza in our Ninja, and Emmie had a tiny slice of pizza and an at-home Uncrustable, and Addie ate the crust, and some tiny bites of pizza.

We did a super fast bath time, then got the girls dressed for bedtime and watched some YouTube videos for just a bit while Emmie had some snacks… lollipop, GoGurt, and some raw, plain baby carrots. Quite a combo, right? But she wasn’t quite done, and took at least one carrot with her to bed for our bedtime book.

Emmie was so stinking sweet at bedtime, and got legitimately sad about leaving her baby sister for the whole weekend, because she just loves her so much. I told her Daddy could send photos, and we’d only miss out seeing her on Saturday, then be home Sunday. She was still just bummed to leave Addie, which both broke my heart, and melted my heart at the same time. She’s the absolute BEST big sister, and that’s just not up for debate.

Both girls are now asleep, but Jeff and I still have some chores to do, including a quick Walmart trip for just a couple of necessary items, and I need to finish packing. And then tomorrow morning, Emerson and I will meet up with Grammy and Papa, and hit the road to Disney World! I won’t be blogging for a couple of days, but you know we’ll be taking plenty of pictures to share at the end of the trip!
