Look at how happy this baby nugget was for water day Friday!
Again this morning, she picked out which hair accessories she wanted to use, and told me she wanted a bun.
I used yesterday’s homemade rosemary bread to make avocado toast with Everything But the Bagel seasoning this morning, and it was super delicious. I want some again now that I’m writing this at almost 9pm!
So much fun at water day with her tiny friends!
We had taquitos, yellow rice and black beans for dinner, but I forgot to grab any pictures of that. When it’s just the three of us, I make 21 taquitos, and there are only a couple left. So with the boys here, I doubled that and made 42! And there were only four left! Emerson ate two at the table, and then two more after the fact, after cupcakes and playing.

She requested to cuddle and watch Woody, so she was sweet and chill for a few minutes, and then she got crazy and starting jumping all over the place and doing flips and flopping on Mommy. That girl is just a crazy little nut!
And while I was putting away the leftovers, she gave me the pouty face for a fourth taquito…
After playing around a little more, we got her ready for bed and started on our nighttime routine. She found half of a bag of chips in her room that she had started the other night, and ate that too. The girl must be having a little growth spurt with all the food she ate tonight!
She found the book about the Three Little Pigs and told me she wanted to read the Peppa book, so I just went with it. She was very sweet and precious and loving at bedtime, and everything went smoothly. Gabe washed all the dishes tonight, and so now it’s time to sit down and rest!
