Asian Lunch & Asian Dinner

Today was such a gross, rainy day, but it least it started off good with these little sweeties!

I did end up making myself another Asian chopped salad late last night to bring to the office for lunch today. And it was soooo good again. This is definitely my current favorite salad. (And my other two faves being a simple Caesar, and my tried & true Olive Garden Italian dressing.)

Got a few photos of Addie playing with her friends…

All the hugs when the sisters saw each other again today after school.

And I was obsessed with all the curls in Emmie’s little hair, even in her pony tail!

Addison fell asleep in the car, as always…

And she kept on sleeping for a little while longer while I made chicken & veggie curry again for dinner tonight. The first two times I used the yellow curry sauce, and tried this red one out tonight. Honestly, there’s not very much difference between the two, but I think I like the yellow one slightly better. But this was still super delicious!

Jeff fed Addison a bottle while Emerson and I got started on our dinner, and then Addie came to join us for puffs and rice, but Jeff ended up just laying down to rest on the couch while we ate.

Emerson made some Play-Doh cakes and cookies while Addison finished up her rice, and I worked on putting leftovers away. (Actually, first I had to make a whole second pot of rice, because I had so much chicken curry leftover, and way not enough rice to go with it.)

Then Emmie got a small thing of M&M’s for her dessert, we fed Addie another bedtime bottle, and went through the bedtime routine with both girls.

Emmie had another rough bedtime (she just wants Mommy forever and always and doesn’t want me to leave her ever, which is very sweet, but always just can’t quite happen), but after lots of extra loves and cuddles and chats, and a promise to watch her on the camera and also come back to check on her again, I finally got her settled down and ready for sleep. Gonna go wash up the bottles and dishes, and then head off to bed soon now myself.
