Well, today is nothing but photos of the girls, and nothing else. Which isn’t too uncommon, since they’re my whole world, but ya know, that’s literally all it is today 🙂 Sweetie pies at separate before-school drop-off’s.
Couple pics of Addie at school with her friends.
Sweetie pies together after post-school pick-up’s.
Jeff had to run to his parents’ house to take care of their dogs for them, so it was just the girls and I at home for the evening. We all had different versions of eggs & rice, since it was a super simple meal, and easier with a hubby wanting meat with every meal 😉 Emmie had egg sandwich with a side of eggs, and rice; Addie had scrambled eggs and rice; and I had rice and fried eggs with sautéed shallots topped with chili oil crunch. This was the best I’ve ever made this eggs & rice dish for me, because of the sautéed shallots. It was just super delicious tonight.
And Emerson absolutely cleaned her whole plate and barely left any crumbs. She wanted to make sure everyone knew that she did that all by herself, and no one helped her eat even one bite.
We did bath time after dinner, and then Addie had some more rice for her pre-bedtime snack while we watched Bluey.
Then Daddy came home right before we started on bedtime, so he rocked Addie and I took care of Emmie, and both girls were so sweet and sleepy things went smooth.
I’m ready to just sit down and relax and chill for the rest of the night, because as sweet as the girls were tonight, we also had our typical little meltdowns and I was just overstimulated. I’m ready for some peace and quiet, and ready to veg out on the couch and watch some tv.
