Matching overalls, for the cutest girls in the world! I seriously can’t stand how adorable they were in their matching overalls this morning. Jeff said, “overall, they’re pretty cute!” 😉
The Frother’s Daughter coffee truck now consistently parks at my office building every Thursday morning from 7-11am. But with the added expense of summer camp for Emmie, we’re on a tight budget this summer, so I’ve resisted getting a special coffee every week. Today however, I splurged and treated myself, because I couldn’t resist the special Baklava Brew (for this week only for an employee’s last week), had my favorite pistachio limited flavor, which I just couldn’t pass up. I even asked for extra pistachio. And it was sooo delicious.
Little cutie getting dropped off at said expensive summer camp…
For lunch today, we had a nice little family outing at Freshroots, with me, Meg, Mama and Papa, and not only was it super yummy, but we had such a great time together!
Addie Pie had a good day at school, reading some books with friends.
And Emmie-cille had another good gymnastics lesson. (Such a goofy face though!)
And then afterwards, PopPop took her to hang out at Nana’s office for the last few minutes of the day, leading up to 5pm. Nana works in the building directly next to daycare, so that’s super convenient, and she picked up Addie for me, and then I picked up both girls from her in the parking lot when I got there after work.
And I started this new audio book on my way to daycare, and I’ve heard so many good things about this one lately, I’m excited about it. It’s a book about books, and I love those.
Sweet little helper girl wanted to help me get dinner ready, so she cut up the pears for us, while I made the buffalo chicken wraps for me and Jeff, and just a ranch wrap for her, and diced up chicken for baby sis.
And as you you can see on their plates, Emmie wanted to help by gathering up some other things for their dinner, so they each ended up with their own little snack plates.
We did bath time after dinner, and then they both put on some new Encanto nightgowns from Nana. Addie’s is more like a long dress-up-style-dress, but it’s adorable. After I put it on her, and fought her to brush her hair nicely, when Emmie saw her for the first time, she gasped and said, “She is SO pretty!”
I always love these photos of baby sister looking up adoringly at big sister. It just melts my heart to see these two girls love each other so much.
We had some cuddle time together watching “Lilo & Stitch” and having a bedtime snack, before we started on their actual bedtime routine. Emmie was out like a light again tonight, but Addie needed some extra cuddle time before she would let me lay her down in her bed. But I’ve been watching both of them on their room monitor videos for the past 20 minutes, and neither have moved a muscle in there…
I’ve been watching the “Taylor Swift 1989 World Tour” video on YouTube while writing this (which I’ve actually never seen before and its so good!), and so it’s taken me about twice as long as usual, because I keep stopping to just sing along.
Today was such a great, FULL day! Lots of fun, and lots of photos. Just feeling happy and loved tonight 🙂
