Four Tiny Reindeer

Today was crazy hat or headband day at school, so Emmie found Sheppy this morning wearing her headband, as a reminder!

She remembered the advent calendar right before walking out the door, so she grabbed the next ornament and put it on the tree.

We got there a few minutes early today, so we waited for a bit for the baby girls to arrive, so we could all go in together. They were wearing cute reindeer headbands today too, and were so excited about all of it!

The director Ms. Renee took these two pictures on their way to class, and sent it to Meg, and I love these so much! These four tiny reindeer are just too adorable!!!

Meg got this first one from the triplets’ teacher, and I got the next one of Emmie doing art from her teacher.

I made one of our “usual” dinners tonight – kielbasa & veggie pasta – and it was a hit as usual. Emmie didn’t eat any of the veggies, but girlfriend went to town on the noodles & sausage! She even ate the leftovers from my bowl that I couldn’t finish. (She was a bit clingy tonight though, and needed to sit as close to Daddy as possible, and have him feed her at the start, but then she just started diving in and grabbing it herself, and putting the giant rigatoni noodles on her tiny fingers.)

She worked a little bit on her butterfly lollipop, while we watched Zootopia after dinner, and then we headed off to bedtime. And she got herself completely changed into her jammies all by herself tonight! Oh, and she found a pair of sunglasses randomly, and wore them around for most of the night.

We had a few tense moments of bedtime shenanigans, but I was able to get her to settle down and get ready to go to sleep. And now it’s time for my usual bedtime routine – candle is lit, gonna snuggle up on the couch, and probably grab a small snack while watching Netflix!
