Munching on Ice

This morning, this cutie baby had some milk sitting on the kitchen counter (in her crazy cup she picked out at the Dollar Tree with Grammy last week), and then took her Cheerio’s in the car for the road. (She also picked out her own shoes today.)

Still so excited for/proud of her Cheerio’s 🙂

Today I had the leftover’s from Monday night’s meal, and it was just as yummy today as it was then. I’m pretty sure this is a meal that will get added in to the “regular rotation,” because it was so easy, so good, uses “regular” ingredients (most of which I usually keep on hand anyways), and makes enough for dinner & lunch the next day. (You can also see my collection of different colored pens and highlighters, from a particularly messy/convoluted case I was working on, that needed to be color-coded to help ease some confusion…)

A few photos from school…

Grammy picked up Emmie from school in the Jeep, and we met at Which Wich for dinner.

This little weirdo LOVES eating ice, and they have the small soft ice, which was perfect for her small mouth! She sat in Grandmommie’s lap for quite a while, just digging ice out of her cup and chomping away. What’s funny about this though, is Grammy, Meggie and I all have this issue (it’s actually real disorder – misophonia), where we are super annoyed by the sound of people eating, chewing or smacking. It’s especially bad for hard, crunchy things, like pretzels… Or ice. Grammy has given Emmie a warning already, and said it’s cute now, but she can’t do it forever! Haha 😂

And of course she had to get back in the Jeep after dinner too, instead of riding to church with Mommy!

I had late praise team rehearsal after choir, which was really good tonight. We’re singing one of my favorites, All the Praise, and it gives me goosebumps and chills (and sometimes tears) every time we sing it.

So Jeff took Emerson home when he was done with the men’s bible study, so she wasn’t out too late. She’s been obsessed lately with laying in our bed, and kind of pretending to go night-night. So while Jeff doing some stuff around our room, sh tucked herself right in!

He said she went down really well tonight, and before I even left the church, she was sound asleep in her bed! Time for a snack now (dinner is so early on Wednesday’s!), and an episode of “Fringe!”
