Yogurt Parfait

Absolutely adorable matchy sisters, loving on each other before school today.

I’ve been making homemade yogurt parfaits for my breakfast this week, with vanilla yogurt, the frozen berries, granola & honey. And it’s sooo good. I’m kinda obsessed actually.

I made some BBQ chicken in the crockpot today, then shredded it for pulled chicken sandwiches, with some rice & baked beans on the side. The girls both love this kind of rice, and they eat two and three helpings of it. They call it noodle rice, since it’s actually a mix of pasta & rice.

The girls had a bath after dinner, and I let them play for a long time, so I could read while they played. And then we watched the second half of Beauty and the Beast that we started last night, and I read some more. But the girls truly loved the movie, and thought it was so great and magical. Emerson especially was very into the part where they play in the snow and the Beast starts changing, and she was just so sweet and giggly about it.

I’m currently reading “None of This is True,” which is a mystery/thriller/suspense novel, and it’s so good and interesting so far. I think I’m about halfway through right now.

And of course we have to end the night with sister loves again before bedtime.

Last night, I washed all the dishes and the sink was empty. But now it’s mostly full again, and I’m trying to decide if I can force myself to go wash them all again (remember, we don’t have a dishwasher, so I was them all by hand!), or if I put it off till another night…
