Upside Down

Another chilly morning today, so that meant another new fall outfit for Emerson, including new pink sparkly boots from Nana! And just look at that pose!

These bright blue eyes just kill me! And this subtle little face she’s making with her mouth is super cute.

The sky was so pretty this morning, I took two photos at two different places around town, because I just loved it so much.

At school today, Emerson’s class made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins together, they were baked in the kitchen, and then they got to eat them out on the playground too!

About half-way through my lunch break today, Megan texted me and said, “Wanna go to Starbucks with me?” Of course I said yes, so she picked me up, and we made a super quick coffee run together. Since I really don’t go there very often (even though I’ve now been twice in two weeks), I didn’t know what to order, so I just told her to order two of her usual, and I’d have the same thing she got. So she ordered a venti iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel drizzle, upside down, x’s 2. And it really was yummy. It was a lot of espresso though, so we’ll see how I sleep later on tonight 😉

And then I didn’t take any more photos until like, 7:30pm. All of this afternoon/evening’s schedule was just thrown off by about 20 minutes, and things were just a little off and a little different, and we were scattered about doing all the things (bottles, yard work, dinner, etc), and I just forgot to take any photos. So finally after all of that, once we got Emmie in her jammies, we had just a few minutes of time to sit and cuddle together, and watch a cute little Pixar short on Disney+, before heading off to get the girls ready for bed.

Emmie had her snack and we read a book, and I got all the loves and hugs and kisses before finishing up the bedtime routine.

I got the dinner leftovers put away, and the kitchen cleaned up, while Jeff rocked Addison to sleep in the living room recliner. I need to wash the bottles and set up the coffee for tomorrow, and then relax a little bit before bedtime.
