Thumbs up for cute girlies in sweet pink dresses. I was also wearing a pink dress today too, to coordinate with them, and even took a selfie with them, but it turned out terrible so I’m not sharing that one 😉
Shared my March reading recap right on time today, on the first of the month, thank you very much!
A few weeks ago I made a giant pork roast in the crockpot. We ate off of it for a few meals, and then I froze a ton of it still. We used that thawed out shredded pork tonight to make bbq sandwiches, with some baked beans & mac and cheese. And right before I took this photo, Jeff knocked over Addison’s cup and sent her pink-flavored water spilling all over the entire table.
After dinner was bath time for the girlies, and then of course some fresh, clean jammies for both of them. And Emerson was very proud of herself for doing her twisty towel like this all by herself.
After a shared dessert snack and a couple of Bluey episodes, we made sure to get started on an early (well, on-time) bedtime. Both girls were overly tired, and thus overly sensitive tonight, and so it was kinda a rough night with lots of hurt feelings and tears and little fits. But praise the Lord, bedtime actually went really smooth and easy, and they both fell asleep quickly.
Addie laid down like this and wanted me to take her picture.
And then she wanted me to take a picture “on the front of the phone” so she could see her face.
Gonna go wash up tonight’s dishes super fast, and then work on the puzzle I started last night. I am re-doing an easy one I’ve done before, so that I can use it as motivation before starting harder, new one 🙂
