Trick or Treating 2025

Emerson got to dress up like a book character for school today, and I think we did a good job throwing together this little “Matilda” outfit! She looked so stinking cute!

And even though Addison wasn’t allowed to wear a costume to school today, she was still looking like a cute little cheetah girly.

There were soo many snacks brought into the office today. These brownies were delish, and a perfect pair with my Harry Potter cauldron cake coffee today. My coworker Jeanne made all of these little festive Oreos, and brought me extras for the girls, and another friend gave me one more for Jeff too 🙂

After work today, the whole family went out to Grammy’s house. We had chicken burrito bowls for dinner, and then started getting ready to go out trick or treating. But first, we got a picture of Grandmommie with all seven of her great-grandchildren! My cousin and his wife and kiddo recently moved back to Florida from Missouri (their in nearby Quincy now), and this was our first big family event with them back here with us. So obviously we needed a big pic with all the kids!

And then we got our costumes on to go out into the neighborhood! My little Rey & Princess Leia were ready to defend the galaxy, and their candy 😉

Then we also had Ellie as Galinda from Wicked, Riley as Ariel, Kensley as the Pink Power Ranger, and Asher as the baby moo-cow!

We always have so much fun doing the crazy, chaotic giant trick-or-treat outing with the family, and tonight was just as fun as always! So thankful to live in the same city as my family, and get to do things like this so our kids all grow up together!
