Title Wave

Gonna try to keep this short & sweet, because it’s almost 11pm and I’m starting to fall asleep while sitting on the computer… The girls and I had a great morning today, and we made it to the end of our week while Jeff was out of town!

And I treated myself to my favorite Frother’s Daughter coffee on the way to work, to celebrate making it through my week of solo mom duty. Plus a delicious slice of cinnamon coffee cake for breakfast.

PopPop went to Gilchrist with Emerson today for a Veteran’s Day parade, and she loved having him there for the special event!

And apparently they had some time in the school garden today. And it looks like Emerson is about to just dive right in!

I took an early lunch break to shop the Title Wave used book sale at the library. I filled up a tote for $15, and scored 24 books!

Jeff made it back to Tally around noon, and then went home to rest for the afternoon. Nana picked up both girls from school early, and took them up to Havana for a little Christmas kick-off in the town square. I picked up Jeff when I got off work, and we met them up there for the last few minutes.

We went back to their house to hang out for a little while, and when it was time to go, I found this goofball hiding like this in the bathtub!

She was finishing “eating her chocolate milk,” which was actually now ice cold hot chocolate, since it had been sitting out on the counter for a while…

It was another late night, and a late bedtime for the girls, and I’m ready for my bedtime now too.
