Taco Tuesday Repeat

These two cuties were ready for another day of school, wearing cute little outfits. Addison specifically wanted to wear her tennis shoes like her big sister, because Emerson was wearing tennis shoes.

I got some new coffee to bring into the office for when I need some extra caffeine, and I tried it out for the first time today. For my personal tastes, I needed a little extra cream and splenda, but it was really good!

Nana picked up both girls from their schools for us today, and took them back to our house for the night. She took care of them, and also did a few loads of their laundry that she brought over, since their dryer is on the fritz. Meanwhile, Jeff and I went to Echalee again for a repeat of their $1.50 taco Tuesday night. Well, I got there first and ordered for both of us, and got in some reading time with my chips & salsa before he got there.

Then, the real reason Nana got the girls – Jeff and I went to NFC for parents’ night, to get more information about their preschool in general, and then from Addie’s teacher specifically. We started in the auditorium at the church, and then went to the classroom for more info. It was all quick and easy, and now we’re truly ready for this upcoming school year!

We got back home shortly after 7pm, which was just enough time to catch up with the girls, and hear about how their days at school went, and just hang out and chill with them for a bit. We watched some Bluey and then got started on bedtime, while Nana waited on her clothes to finish up in the dryer. She headed out before we got the girls to sleep, but she managed to finish washing the last of the dishes that I didn’t take care of last night, so that was helpful too. So now, I just get to chill out, and probably try to paint my nails before bedtime.
