We’ve had this onesie since sometime last summer, when we bought it on super clearance at Old Navy for just a couple of dollars. But we’ve been anxiously awaiting for her to grow a bit, because it’s 18-24m size, and even still, it’s a little bit bit on her! But we love it!
I brought my egg salad for lunch today, and my bread in a separate bag so that I could toast it here. And y’all. It was delicious! I can’t remember the last time I made egg salad, or even ate it, but dang it was good! I wanted a whole ‘nother sammich! But I held back and controlled myself, so I can have another one again for lunch tomorrow. Since Emerson loved it so much last night, and I loved it so much today, it looks like I might need to make this more often!
Sweet nugget had a good day at school, had a nice, long two-hour nap, and peed in the potty four times.
Work was long & slow, but I got a lot accomplished, so I felt good about that. I was able to leave on time at 5pm, and with the very minimal amount of traffic out on the roads these days, I get to daycare faster, and then home faster, and I now typically get home 10-15 minutes earlier than we did under normal circumstances.
And completely on purpose and totally fitting for Emerson’s shirt, we had turkey tacos tonight for dinner. I had already made our meal plan for the week when I was picking out her clothes for her the other day, so I made sure her taco onesie was worn for taco Tuesday dinner!
She was thrilled when I let her do some bubbles in the bath tonight. She kept squealing and giggling, and she honestly just thought it was the best thing ever. She kept trying to catch the bubbles on her wand, and she was very thrilled whenever it happened.
Then she got ready for bed, and we did snacks and books and lullabies, and she wanted one extra lullaby tonight. But other than that, it was a relatively easy bedtime, and she was so sweet and cuddly.
I had put away all of tonight’s leftovers for our lunches for tomorrow earlier after dinner, so then after Emmie’s bedtime I just washed up all the dishes. Looking forward to turning off my brain and enjoying some TV time now. Night friends!
