Today was the first “water day” at daycare for Addie Pie, and she was super excited to wear her “baby soup” to school! She was very much ready for all the fun! (She hasn’t actually called it a “baby soup” since she was two years old, but Jeff and I still always say that, because it was so stinking cute and we still love it so much.)
I used the last of my coffee creamer to make yesterday’s morning coffee, and I just simply can’t drink coffee without it. So today, I treated myself to a pay-day-Friday-latte on the way into the office, which was super delicious. My fave from 7Brew is the Cinnamon Roll latte, extra cinnamon roll flavor, extra ice. Yum!
After getting caught in a deluge walking from my office back to my car at the end of the day, Jeff and I met up at daycare to pick up Addison together. Then we went over to our pastor’s house, for an end-of-the-year pool party for all the GC Kids leaders and their families. My parents actually cooked a big taco fiesta bar for everyone, which was super yummy. There was a giant slide and a big pool and tons of kids and teens to all play together. I was able to sit with some of my friends and just chit-chat and catch up while we watched the kiddos play, and it was a really fun night!
Jeff volunteered to help with clean-up and break-down tonight, so we stayed late, and it was really late by the time we got home. But the girls were exhausted, and bedtime was easy peasy.
