Today was the final “dress up day” for Christmas spirit week at school, and it was simply Red & Green day, and we nailed it! Today was also “R” for show & tell for Emmie, and she brought a remote control, and of course had her reindeer ears.
I love this precious little face she’s making in this photo!
Went out to lunch at Midtown Caboose with my work buddies for a little Christmas lunch get-together.
Addie spent some time in the next bigger class today, and I’m not ready to think she’s not the smallest baby anymore!
And Emmie’s class had a little Christmas party today!
Emmie even brought home some Christmas presents from a few of her sweet little friends.
But she opened this present (the one in the clear cellophane bag above) and when she opened it, it was actually all presents she made to give to us, but she forgot, and opened it herself!
She found Sheppy riding on the back of Rudolph tonight (that was Jeff’s idea), and she thought it was the funniest thing.
We had ham sandwiches for dinner, along with the leftover sweet potato fries from mine & my friends’ lunch today. Even Addie had some! She ate an entire fry, with me squishing it up into tiny bites. I tried giving her some banana/orange baby food, but she legitimately cried and fussed. I really don’t think she liked it at all! Emmie decided to try it, and she didn’t really like it either.
For the longest time, we only had one sleep sack, and she was finally outgrowing it. I recently ordered two new, larger ones, so we could wash & rotate a little less aggressively, with two in the mix.
Girlfriend was still starving though, and extremely exhausted, so I gave her a bottle right away after dinner, and then she immediately fell asleep after that. We finally finished up Ratatouille after watching little bits of it all week long.
Bedtime went easily for both girls, and at 8:30pm, Jeff was already heading off to bed as well, after he had a bad nights’ sleep last night. I’m watching another episode of Survivor now, and getting closer to finishing up this last/second season on Netflix. The good news is, I found the whole treasure trove of 35-ish seasons on Hulu! But knowing myself, I have such a tendency to do things from start to finish, and not wanting to box myself into trying to watch all of those (and having no chill to just pick random things all willy-nilly) I Googled a list of the highest rated seasons, and made a list in my phone so I’ll know which ones to watch 😉 I know, like I said, I have no chill…
